- Educating Students With Brain Injury
This course describes and corrects common misunderstandings or "myths" about the impact and sequelae of brain injuries among children and adolescents. These inaccurate beliefs commonly present barriers to recognizing their special educational needs. An overview of changes in learning, behavior and emotions is presented with checklists of warning signs, changes to consider in the classroom and illustrative case examples. (Added: Sat May 04 2002)
